POSITION:

• Summer School Licensed Counselor – Temporary, Multiple positions
  • K-5 Counselor
  • 6-12 Counselor

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Approximately 5 hours per day (8:30am – 1:30pm Grades K-8)
• Approximately 7 hours per day (9:00am – 4:00pm Grades 9-12)

 

SALARY:

• $40/hour ($42/hour starting July 1) - contingent upon the district receiving ODE Summer School grant funds

 

STARTING DATE:

• Session 1: June 16 – July 3 (Grades 9-12)
• Session 2: July 7 – August 1 (Grades K-12)

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Oregon counseling license through TSPC or Oregon Board Licensed.
• Valid First Aid Card as requested by Principal.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the field of public education, including experience as a classroom teacher preferred.
• Knowledge of current educational practices and methods, evaluation techniques, behavior management techniques, and communication techniques.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior job-related experience.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
