POSITION:
- Summer School Licensed Counselor – Temporary, Multiple positions
- K-5 Counselor
- 6-12 Counselor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Approximately 5 hours per day (8:30am – 1:30pm Grades K-8)
- Approximately 7 hours per day (9:00am – 4:00pm Grades 9-12)
SALARY:
- $40/hour ($42/hour starting July 1) - contingent upon the district receiving ODE Summer School grant funds
STARTING DATE:
- Session 1: June 16 – July 3 (Grades 9-12)
- Session 2: July 7 – August 1 (Grades K-12)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Oregon counseling license through TSPC or Oregon Board Licensed.
- Valid First Aid Card as requested by Principal.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in the field of public education, including experience as a classroom teacher preferred.
- Knowledge of current educational practices and methods, evaluation techniques, behavior management techniques, and communication techniques.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior job-related experience.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
