POSITIONS:          

• K-12 Summer School Teachers – Temporary, Multiple Positions

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Approximately 5 hours per day (8:30am – 1:30pm Grades K-8)
• Approximately 7 hours per day (9:00am – 4:00pm Grades 9-12)

 

SALARY:

• $42/hour - contingent upon the district receiving ODE Summer School grant funds

 

STARTING DATE:

• Session 1: June 15 – July 10 (Grades PreK-12)
• Session 2: July 13 – July 24 (Grades 9-12)

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Oregon Teaching License with content area endorsements, as appropriate.
• Experience in providing academic intervention instruction in reading, math and/or writing.
• Working knowledge of Oregon state assessment grade level expectations.
• Experience in Pre/Post Assessment; and
• Hold a First Aid card or obtain one as required by the supervisor.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching experience with school-aged students
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
